Not only was the pot roast grilled cheese (only on Fridays) the best sandwich I’ve ever had, the service was amazing. I saw the bartender pour a drink and realized the OJ was not fresh. She dumped the drink and all the OJ and went to get fresh from the back. 10/10. Will come back.
Nice atmosphere. Food was good. Drinks were great. Waitress was having trouble hiding her life issues. Wasn't very crowded so that was a plus. Bathroom was amazing!
Stopped in just to see this Memphis staple. Nice clean bar with great selection of drinks. Didn't have time to eat anything but menu has good options.
Everything I've had here is good! Get the pot roast on Fridays, you won't regret it! Them Hotwing egg rolls... twice baked potatoes.... whew yes! Just go & try something.... You will not regret it. The ONLY thing I didn't like is there are no dividers on the Togo plates... I hate my different foods to touch!!!!
I work downtown & eat there probably 3 or 4 days a week. They have a great menu selection plus daily lunch specials. I've never been disappointed in the quality of food or service! It's not only one of my favorite lunch spots but one of my favorite restaurants!
So we were on vacation looking for non-chain restaurants and found The Blue Monkey and wow. I’m picky when it comes to sweet tea and that was spot on I ordered their blackened chicken on a bed of wild rice man delicious my sides were the Cesar salad and sauteed mushrooms so delicious and yes I’m picky about my mushrooms. Tina was our server and she did an excellent job keeping drinks filled and checking on us. Most definitely suggest this place
Omg. This place is superb. Miss. Nail is so nice. She comes to check on me. The food is awsum. I had the meat loaf, steamed veggies , and creamy spinach. When I tell you the food is finger licking good. Let’s say bet.
I like it a lot. Burgers are excellent. Drinks are a yes.
